Onyxrail Install Cab Air Con on Class 323 as Heatwave hits UK

The Midland fleet of Class 323 Units have been fitted with DC Airco Cab Air Conditioners provided by Onyxrail Limited, with all major materials for mounting the equipment provided by its sister company Brentto Industry.
Onyxrail where delighted to be awarded the contract by Porterbrook to intergrate and install the equipment which is manufactured by DC Airco.
DC Airco equipment is fitted as an adtermarket enhancement to many fleets both in the UK and Internationally where it provides a reail upflift in driver comfort and amenity. In addition to Class 323, DC Airco equipment has been provided to Sheffield Supertram.
DC Airco products are low power high performance equipment that is capable of providing comfort on hottest of days, even if the vehicle has previously been stabled south facing.

No need of big inverters because the unit runs completly on 110 volt DC.
